Artist’s Comment:
Two of my hero’s Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra from the 1945 Movie Anchors Aweigh. Them two in sailors suits is adorable! XD
This was alot of fun to draw, and also alot of a challenge. I’ve never drawn a Telephone in my life haha. It turned out to be easier to draw than the faces. Also, Sinatra’s hair was the hardest to get right. Greasy curls, no thankyou.~
The whole picture took about 3 days.
I love how Sinatra really looks like a little punk from Hooboken when he’s younger. He looks so much different as he ages.
Only thing I was dissapointed about was in the picture you can’t see Sinatra’s scar for some reason. (he’s got one on his left chin and right cheek from when he was born, he was in a complicated pregnancy and they used forceps to remove him and scarred up his face. It also ruptured his eardrum.) So I guess either they had alot of make up, or you just can’t see it for some reason. I like his scars. Gene’s scar on his cheek is pretty cute to, I wish I knew the story behind it.
