Title: ‘Dragon Mekaniko’

Artist’s Comment:

Inspired by the world created by CHICHONI, I wanted create a scene that will mix the SCI-FI movement with today’s world, so the idea of a Dragon-robot immediately came to my head. I like telling stories with my images. With the idea of creating an exoskeleton, I created the figure to have the structure of an old dinosaur’s skeleton.
I modeled the dragon with an old program called “Organic”, it is imperfect yet very intuitive. I later used 3dmax to be able to texturize the robot making it more old and rusty.
The environment created was meant to be very industrial. The fire was done using FumeFX combined then with salad rendered layers to add in more detail. Finally, I added more details to the stone at the foreground, making it more realistic.
