Artist’s Comment:

‘Planet Earth Vol 8′ is part of a whole series I began to create a year ago. I really love to create digital landscapes and see how beautiful our planet is. Sometimes I want to make people think “why are we destroying this beauty?”
This entire scene is made in vue 8 xStream. I used 3 procedural terrains and after a lot of work and many filter combinations, I rendered the whole scene inside 3ds max 2009. All the small details and the atmosphere were made in Photoshop cs4.
